Ádám Szigeti, studied Economics at Goldsmiths, University of London and has an MPA (Master of Public Adminsitration) of Corvinus University of Budapest. In 2010, Ádám began working as the Chief of Staff for the State Secretary of National Development in the Ministry for National Economy. He then became Head of Department of the Ministry for Human Capacities where he gained years of experience in the fields of higher education, innovation and research. In November, 2016 he was appointed to be the Chancellor of Óbuda University where his goal is to ensure that graduates meet and exceed the expectations of the labour market by providing them with both theoretical and practical education. As the Secretary of The Council for Tertiary Education, he believes the success of Hungarian higher education lies in corporate cooperation as well as preparing universities to be able to adequately respond to international challenges.
